Cabana Show
As a result of the pandemic, Cabana, a trade show focused on travel and swim, needed to update their website to accommodate for online shows. Working with their team, we strategized a brand update and site design that not only created a seamless experience for their partner’s to showcase their work, but also established a stronger brand story. Through a combination of fluid UX, editorial moments, and special touches inspired by wanderlust, the new website integrates strong product design and a clear brand narrative.

Brand Motifs

Because Cabana is a tradeshow for travel and resort, we wanted to bring a sense of wanderlust to the site. To do so, we created a script that posterizes shadows in images. The script works with any uploaded photo, but we used a set of travel snapshots from a recent trip to Florida. When we’re traveling, these casual moments of light intersecting with plants always catch our attention. These textures were used in specific brand moments across the site.
